Camp Conifer is a haven for anglers and nature lovers alike, centered around our thriving fishing operations.
Our ponds and waterways are teeming with large mouth bass and other East Texas fish species, providing exciting catch-and-release fishing experiences. We actively manage these aquatic ecosystems, including fish breeding and dam control operations, to ensure the continued health and abundance of our fish populations.
The camp's self-sustaining cabin, equipped with a well, offers a comfortable and peaceful retreat for guests, providing a tranquil base for exploring the surrounding natural beauty. Deer feeding programs are also located in this area, supporting the local wildlife.
Beyond fishing, Camp Conifer offers a variety of recreational activities, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the serene atmosphere and appreciate the diverse wildlife that inhabits this special part of the ranch.
Cabin Life
A brand new cabin was added to Camp Conifer in 2024, marking a new modern experience for this section of the ranch.
As part of our sustainability initiative, the cabin features a freshly dug well with plans to bring it completely off the power grid by 2027 through renewable energy.
